Chief Brown was born and raised in Pooler, Ga., leaving temporarily but always returning home. A graduate of Groves High School and Armstrong State University with a degree in Criminal Justice, Brown previously served with the Savannah Police Department for twenty-four years. Chief Brown came home to Pooler as our new Chief in March of 2018 and states that he is happy to serve his home town.

Major Ward has been a member of the Pooler Police Department since 1998. He is a graduate of Armstrong-Atlantic State University and previously served as Federal Officer with the US Customs Service.
Capt. Bogden has been a member of the Pooler Police Department since 2004. Capt. Bogden is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University.
Lieutenant Griner has been a part of the Pooler Police Department since 2013 and has a degree in Business administration from Georgia Southern University. Before becoming Assistant Patrol Commander, Lieutenant Griner proudly served as a Patrol Officer and later as Administrative Services Supervisor.
Lt. Lindler has been in Law Enforcement since 1987, and a member of Pooler Police Department since 1990.
Lt. Schmitt has been a member of the Pooler Police Department since 1996. Lt. Schmitt has also served as a Task Force Officer with the FBI Southeast Child Exploitation Task Force.
